I had my consultation with Dr Buddha. He was by far the most professional compared to the other clinics I went to for consultations this week. His colleague Lisa was very friendly and helpful.

So I went to see myclinique this week for a Invisalign consultation and I was very impressed, I saw a lady called Lisa and a man called Mark, I told them what a great consultation it was because I was informed of lot's of options and were given lots of information about Invisalign that other clinics never told me before.

Natalia Marjovic

MyClinique is the best clinic in Northampton my daughter got her Invisalign here with the gentleman and I get my anti-wrinkle injections here.

Discover the power of All-on-6

All-on-6 dental implants replace an entire arch of teeth but are fixed in place with just 6 dental implant screws. Standard dental implants, by contrast, would need at least 8 dental implant screws to replace a full arch of teeth. Using fewer dental implant screws means that the All-in-6 procedure is faster, easier and more affordable than traditional dental implants. It is, however, still a surgical procedure. Here is what you need to know.

Faster

All-on-6 is quicker than other dental implant procedures

Strong

The implants are strong and durable, so won't restrict your lifestyle

Natural

All-on-6 implants look and feel as close to natural teeth as possible

The All-on-6 procedure is simpler and faster than the procedure for traditional dental implants. At the same time, All-on-6 dental implants create more strength in the jaw than All-on-4 dental implants.

In the All-on-6 procedure, six dental screws are placed around the jaw at roughly equal distances. These dental screws are usually made of titanium, meaning that they are both hygienic and robust.

Modern prosthetic teeth are generally made of zirconia with a porcelain veneer. Zirconia is very strong, allowing you to eat what you like without having to worry about breaking a tooth. Porcelain is used for aesthetic reasons, as it can be customised to a person’s choice of tooth style and shade.

Pros & cons

Here is a quick guide to the pros and cons of All-on-6 dental implants

Pros

  • All-on-6 dental implants have an excellent balance of convenience and strength

All-on-6 dental implants are practical as well as durable, so you don't have to worry about them coming loose like traditional dentures

  • You can smile with confidence

All-on-6 dental implants will restore your confidence

  • They work like real teeth and you can eat whatever you like

The All-on-6 procedure will leave you with teeth that look as real as possible, so no one will know you have dental implants unless you tell them

  • The All-on-6 procedure is quicker than having individual dental implants

If you're looking to replace a whole arch of teeth, the All-on-6 treatment will take less time than if using single dental implants

  • All-on-6 is more cost-effective than traditional dental implants

All-on-6 is more cost-effective than single dental implants when replacing one or both arches of missing teeth

Cons

  • All-on-6 costs more than All-on-4

  • There will be an initial period of adjustment for All-on-6 dental implants

You'll probably need to take extra care while you get used to your new dental implants, and make sure you clean them properly

Consultation

Consultation

At your consultation, your dentist will check if you are a good match for the All-on-6 procedure. If you are, they’ll explain the All-on-6 procedure to you in more detail and how it compares with other dental implant procedures, including All-on-4. At the end of the consultation, you’ll be in a position to make an informed decision on whether or not the All-on-6 procedure is right for you.

Appointment

Appointment

The All-on-6 procedure generally takes between 2.5 and 4 hours per jaw. You will, however, need general anaesthetic, so it can be helpful to allow a full day for the All-on-6 procedure. You can generally choose to have both jaws done at once. In fact, you can often choose to have All-on-4 on one jaw (usually the lower) and All-on-6 on the other (usually the upper) on the same day.

Fitted implant

Fitted implant

You will have the 6 screws fitted into your jawbone. Once the screws are in place, your dentist will fit a temporary overdenture, usually made of resin. This will not be as robust as the permanent overdenture which will be fitted later. It will, however, be much lighter, in order to aid the healing process.

Healing time

Healing time

You should be prepared for some post-surgery bruising and swelling. This will usually fade quickly, typically in a few days. After this, you will need to treat your dental implants carefully for up to 6 months after the All-in-6 procedure. You will be restricted in what you can eat and drink and you’ll have to avoid strenuous exercise (or at least be very careful with it). If you smoke, you’ll have to be prepared to give up.

Is All-on-6 right for me?

All-On-6 is perfect for
  • Replacing a whole arch of teeth
  • Providing a cost-effective solution to missing teeth
  • Having a better appearance than dentures
  • Those who want better functionality than dentures

Also, the additional implants give extra strength to the jaw. This helps to prevent (further) bone loss. Not only is this a desirable outcome in itself, but it can also be very useful if the dental implants need to be replaced. The extra strength of All-in-6 dental implants can also be reassuring to people who lead particularly active lives.

All-on-6 pricing

All-on-6 pricing From £99 Per Month

All-on-6 pricing is generally higher than All-in-4 pricing. This is due to the additional work involved in fitting the extra dental implant screws used in the procedure. That being said, All-on-6 is a cost-effective solution for a whole arch of missing teeth compared to traditional dental implants.

What’s more, you may be eligible for a dental finance plan, allowing you to spread the cost of your treatment over a longer time period.
